Forged in the Fire

I look around at the trials and tribulation our society is facing from this virus. I look at the impact on our young adult children. I see a force that is at work that is as powerful as the one that shaped their lives when they were young.

A sword maker begins with a piece of steel. It must be already a particularly special piece. He heats his furnace up to incredible temperatures, placing the steel in it. Once the piece is red hot, he begins to shape it. He strikes it with blow after blow, until it is the perfect shape. He then cools it and will polish it until it shines like a mirror.

This virus is the sword maker, the fire, the hammer. Our children will shine and so will we. Our METTLE will be tested and our character will shine forth.
