Our Garden

Picture two separate people's gardens. One plants flowers that they prefer in it. The other plants ones that are their preference. Both gardens are beautiful. They are beautiful to people looking at the flowers, however the gardens both have weeds that are not noticed. Only the person knows about the weeds.

Now those two people join their lives, and with it they settle on a garden that they both will have. Now they start transplanting their individual gardens to the new one. Some of the flowers match perfectly. Some are not the same but side by side look fabulous. There is even a part of the garden that needs some work to blend.

What happened to the weeds? Well, when the flowers were pulled up if the weeds had not been removed-they got planted in the new garden. Again, because the garden is so beautiful, no one on the outside notices the weeds. No one except the partners. Now, when the weeds start taking over the garden the partner points it out-but cannot remove the weeds. Only the person whose garden it came from can do that.

Before you join gardens, pull your weeds first and don't forget to get the root too, or it will just grow right back. That way the garden is totally a thing of beauty.
