It's Complicated and The Jumbled Mess

Sometimes we "short out" the solution process by the stating "It's Complicated". It is a verbal "throwing your hand up" in defeat. What preceeds that? Are we overthinking the problem? Are WE the ones making it complicated?
When we go looking for something and we start in a pile of jumbled mess, what happens? We give up.
Let's not waste time beginning in these ways.
Instead, let's start of by saying "It's NOT that complicated!"
