Piece of Fine China

From: "There is No Secret"

Think of our relationships like a piece of fine china. Do we hide them away deep in the back of a closet, only to take it out to show off. Can that be compared to a couple who have separate lives and only come together for an "event". Do we treat our fine china roughly, dropping it in the sink or putting it in the dishwasher with other "utentsils", where it can be chipped? Is this like the chips that our relationships experience over time. Be carefull of dropping that china and it breaking- like an affair. Worse yet, It might be unable to be repaired-divorce.

Intimacy and respect can be compared to gently cleaning our fine china, and using it often for our pleasure.
