A DIY project on your home can be compared to a "life issue". The repair is needed pretty quickly, like a leak in your pipes. You pull out your tool box and look for a wrench. All you have is a hammer, so you start banging away. The next thing you know you are standing in a pool of water. Our tool boxes should be filled with great tools, like insightfull books, wise friends, and spiritual strength. Don't have tools like liquor or drugs, that result in irresponsible behaviors and negative consequences. You might wind up with a flood to deal with!
