The Shut Door

Many virtues are like a "shut door". When a door shuts, a mechanism clicks. If you just pull the door hadle it will not open. If that mechanism does not click, it doesn't matter how slight the position is from that, you can easily open it as wide as you want

Loyalty. You either are loyal person or you are not. The door is shut, or it is open.

You can, however, be fiercely loyal. In that case the door is wide open. When it comes to our virtues, let's keep our doors wde open!
